Program of the Meeting of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV with the Youth

- The arrival of the youth at the Patriarchal See in Bkerké begins at two o’clock in the afternoon.
- While awaiting the arrival of the Holy Father and the completion of the participants’ attendance, several choirs will perform hymns, along with worship dances, taught acclamations, and a video highlighting the most notable youth gatherings.
- At 5:25 p.m., preparations for the entrance of His Holiness begin. He will be welcomed with images and flags, and will take a tour in the popemobile, while the choir, conducted by Mark Merhej, performs hymns for the occasion.
- At 5:45 p.m., His Holiness arrives at the official platform and, accompanied by the youth, ascends to the chair reserved for him, then recites the opening prayer.
- This is followed by a welcoming address from the Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi. Next comes the proclamation of the Word, including a reading from the Gospel of John, chapter 14, verses 23–29.
- The program continues with a staged performance, followed by the address of His Holiness to the youth, and the youth’s pledge: “Peacemakers.”
While the choir performs a hymn for the occasion, a gift is presented to His Holiness, followed by a prayer of thanksgiving.
