The Pope meets with the Carmelite Sisters His Holiness Pope Leo XIV visited the Carmelite Sister’s Monastery, Harissa. According to the Holy See Press Office, the Pope welcomed each nun separately before receiving the heads of the two communities in Harissa and Kafr Mashoun – Jbeil. In his speech to the nuns, he recalled three words from the heart of their contemplative vocation: humility, prayer, and sacrifice. The meeting lasted about half an hour and concluded with the recitation of the Lord's Prayer, and Pope Leo granted his apostolic blessing to the Carmelite nuns in Lebanon.
